Gene expression of three prostate lobes, ventral prostate (VP), dorsal lateral prostate (DLP), and anterior prostate (AP), by cholesterol diet
  • organism-icon Mus musculus

  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Human Genome U133A 2.0 Array (hgu133a2), Affymetrix Mouse Genome 430A 2.0 Array (mouse430a2)

Description

Understanding the systemic regulation of normal prostate gene expression by cholesterol diet is critical for deciphering the mechanisms responsible for the transition from healthy to pathogenic prostate conditions. To understand mechanism under cholesterol effect on prostate, we performed microarray analysis using prostate tissues from SCID or C57BL/6 mice feed with varying diet conditions containing high, low or normal cholesterol.

The mRNA levels of CD133 positive and CD133 negative cells after radiation exposure
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 12 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge IconIllumina HumanHT-12 V3.0 expression beadchip

Description

The cancer initiating cells (CICs) act as a tumor initiation source. Recent studies have shown that CICs contribute to chemoresistance and radioresistance. The aims of this study were to investigate the relationship of CD133+ liver CICs and radiation resistance and to define a possible mechanism for radioresistance in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

Transcriptional regulatory networks underlying reprogramming of spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) to multipotent stem cells
  • organism-icon Mus musculus
  • sample-icon 8 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge IconIllumina MouseRef-8 v2.0 expression beadchip

Description

We present key transcription factors (TFs) and transcriptional regulatory networks (TRNs) delineating how they control cellular processes related to the SSC reprogramming.

Expression data from MCF7 breast epithelial cells in normoxic and hypoxic conditions.
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 4 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Human Gene 1.0 ST Array (hugene10st)

Description

G9a is able to silence gene expression in hypoxic condition by increasing histone H3K9me2. We have identified a set of genes that are negatively regulated by G9a in hypoxia-dependent manner.

Transcription factor NFAT1 regulates systemic autoimmunity through modulation of dendritic cell property
  • organism-icon Mus musculus
  • sample-icon 12 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge IconIllumina MouseRef-8 v2.0 expression beadchip

Description

To characterize the roles of NFAT1 in the pathogenesis of autoimmune myasthenia gravis (MG) at a genome-wide scale, we performed gene expression microarray analysis for wild-type (WT) and NFAT1 KO bone marrow-derived dendritic cells (BMDCs) with or without 2h and 12h-stimulation with pam3CSK4.
